Cedar Feather Boxes
As the name says, these boxes are made out of Cedar. I rather use the Cedar from the land here
than fancy wood from far away, not connected to this land.
Cedar is a natural "material", therefor we can't make any promises about color, grain or what so ever.
We hand pick every piece to asure quality and a beautiful appearance and harmony.
All boxes are 21 inches long, 6 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high.
The boxes have a hinged lid, wood burned and hand painted decoration which appears more
as carving, The outside is finished with a double layer high gloss. The inside of the box is not finished
with anything. It is smooth sanded and remains like that. The reason for is, that the outside seal
with high gloss forces the Cedar to breath to the inside, like Grandmothers chest.
This effect protects your feathers from mits which would eat your feathers over the time. Some people who do not have Cedar boxes sprinkel Cedar saw dust over their feathers. It has the same effect, but is pretty messy.
Please understand, that you can't order a box you see here. These boxes are sold and we show them that you have an impression how your box could look like.When you will order a box we need you to tell us what you like to have on the box as decoration. This is the point where we work with our customers, so that every box becomes a personal box for the customer, a true "One of a kind".

Category 1: Box as described above, but with limited decoration. (Feather on the lid plus one symbol). Allow us 10-12 days for shipping.
Each box is $ 115.00 plus shipping.
Category 2: Box as described above with rich decoration. Our artist will work with you on that.
Allow us 14 days for shipping.
Each box is $ 151,50 plus shipping
Category 3: Box as described above in category 2, plus a native prayer on the back wall of the
box. Allow us 14 days for shipping.
